Urge President Obama to Enforce Immigration Laws
In
a major policy shift, Immigration and Customs Enforcement has
issued new guidelines regarding the prosecution of deportation
cases: if an arrested illegal alien is not a convicted criminal
or a terrorist threat, the case should be dropped.
On
August 20, ICE chief John Morton outlined the new policy in a
memorandum to staff. The policy has the stated purpose of
clearing the backlog of cases in immigration court cases, but it
also has the effect of creating a de facto amnesty for arrested
illegal aliens who have not been convicted of a serious crime.
This move follows the leaking of an internal Obama
Administration memo which outlined ways of legalizing illegal
aliens without Congress' approval.
This
Administration's decision to drop deportation proceedings
against "non-violent" illegal aliens shows a profound
lack of respect for those Americans and legal immigrants unable
to find jobs. For
the sake of all Americans, This administration should allow ICE
to do its job, arrest and deport all illegal aliens they arrest.
The White House's new decision to force ICE to release
illegal aliens who have committed identity fraud and other
"non-violent" crimes is outlandish.
Not only have these individuals come to this country
illegally, they have also committed serious criminal offenses.
However, because they have not committed
"violent" crimes and are not deemed to be terrorists,
this administration believes they deserve to stay in the
country. How
sickening.
It is clear that this administration is trying to issue
policies that will result, over time, in almost all illegal
aliens receiving a de facto amnesty. An amnesty for the 8
million illegal aliens who hold U.S. jobs would permanently
wreck the lives of millions of American families who are
suffering from unemployment caused by illegal immigration.
I know this administration claims to care about America's
unemployed and I hope this administration will realize that
these Americans are the true victims of illegal immigration.
This administration must start enforcing immigration laws to
protect U.S. workers and to ensure American workplaces are
secure.
As your employer I demand that you secure the border and
protect us from the violence that is happening. Not only Mexican
illegals are coming over our borders but illegals from other
country as well. If they want to come into The United States of
America and become citizens then make them come through the
front door not the back. So stop playing politics, this is not a
game.
